Ark and Dove Bed and Breakfast

The Ark & Dove is decorated with a Colonial and English flair. Oriental and braided rugs adorn original pine floors supporting antiques or period reproductions. Special touches such as baskets filled with toiletries, cushy terrycloth robes and chocolates are provided in each guest room. At breakfast time, guests serve themselves from the Sheraton sideboard laden with seasonal gourmet fare. A candle-lit full breakfast is complimented by a formal table setting of china, silver, crystal, linens and classical music.

Choose from four well appointed rooms:

Shaker Suite- A queen-sized bed,private sitting room and private bathwith anantique clawfoot tub await guest arrival. Bubblebath provided! Relax on a private deck overlooking the garden.

Canopy Room - A rice carved poster queen-sized bed with a Nova Scotia fishnet canopy compliments this, our largest guest room. Relax in awingback chair with ottoman. Dormer window seats offer a view of the Naval Academy Chapel. Shared bath.

English Room - Dark rich woods compliment this queen-sized bedroom overlooking the garden with a view of the State House dome. Shared bath.

Folk Room - Our smallest room includes a full-sized antique bed with elaborately carved headboard. Perfect for the single traveller. This room shares a marble tiled shower with the Canopy and English rooms.
