Georgian House
Innkeepers Ann and Tom Berger look forward to welcoming you to their home, The Georgian House. Alive with treasures and images of the beginning of a new nation, Annapolis is home to the United States Naval Academy, meaning there is always a chance that a Midshipman (especially son Tim) will be raiding the cookie jar or playing battleship in the parlor.
Located in the heart of the Historic District within walking distance of all Annapolis has to offer. Imagine spending the night in a 250 year old home known as the meeting place of The Forensic Club. This group included Thomas Stone, William Paca, and Samuel Chase, signers of the Declaration of Independence. Original yellow pine floors grace the first and second floor, complemented with fine oil paintings and personal antiques handed down through generations.
The four guest rooms (one a two-room suite) all feature private baths and are attractively furnished, each with its own unique color scheme, coordinated fabrics and old world charm. The comfortable queen-size beds have distinctive styles with double mattresses and are fitted with soft 100% cotton sheets. The 16-inch brick walls ensure privacy and quiet throughout the house allowing each room to have its own TV/VCR. A large library of books and videotapes is maintained for your use.
The Georgian House is centrally air-conditioned and has full high-speed wireless Internet connectivity. Discounted parking is conveniently located in the secure city garage immediately adjacent.
